Comelec, poll watchdog kinastigo sina ‘KathNiel’ matapos magpalitrato kasama ang balota

KINASTIGO ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) at ng poll watchdog ang mga teen star na sina Kathryn Bernardo at Daniel Padilla matapos magpalitrato kasama ng kanilang balota habang nasa loob ng kanilang voting precincts.
Binatikos ng mga netizen ang magka-loveteam matapos maging viral ang kanilang litrato sa social media.
“Kathryn and daniel and i need to talk #PiliPinas,” sabi ni Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez sa kanyang tweet.
Umabot ng mahigit 4,800 ang retweet ng post ni Jimenes at minarkahan bilang favorite ng mahigit 6,000.
Sinabi naman ng Legal Network for Truthful Elections (Lente) na iligal ang ginagawa ng dalawang artista dahil nilabag nito ang Omnibus Election Code.
“Sec. 195 of the Omnibus Election Code provides that it is unlawful to exhibit the contents of the ballot to any person,” sabi ni Lente.
Nauna nang ipinagbawal ng Comelec ang paggamit ng cellphones at iba pang recording device sa loob ng polling precincts.
