Julio Diaz kritikal pa rin kahit tagumpay ang unang operasyon

UMABOT na sa mahigit P420,000 ang nalikom na halaga ng pamilya ni Julio Diaz para sa kanyang brain surgery.

Nailipat na rin ang aktor (Mariano Regaliza sa tunay na buhay), sa St. Luke’s Medical Center sa Bonifacio Global City mula sa isang provincial hospital sa Bulacan kung saan ito isinugod nitong weekend matapos mawalan ng malay dahil sa matinding sakit ng ulo.

Ayon sa kapatid ni Julio na si Ana Marie Datuin, na siya ring nag-post ng kundisyon ni Julio at nanghingi ng tulong para sa gagastusin sa operasyon ng kapatid, patuloy pa rin silang umaasa na marami pang tutulong at magbibigay ng donasyon sa kanilang online fundraising site na GoFundMe.

Kailangan daw makalikom ng 25,000 U.S. dollars o P1,152,550 para sa brain surgery ng aktor, sabi ni Ana, “Your kind generosity will be very much appreciated. May the Good Lord from His richness in heaven bless you abundantly for your kind and generous help for this cause. Thank you.”

Sa isa pang post, ipinaalam nito sa lahat ang present condition ng kapatid, “According to Dr. Cuanang the plan is to perform by 1 p.m. Manila time (1pm EST), an angiogram and possible clamping. If this procedure does not work, then they will proceed with the surgery. We ask for your prayers that the 1st procedure will be successful. Thank you all.”

Kahapon naman, sinabi ni Ana na nasa kritikal na kundisyon pa rin si Julio matapos ang unang surgery dito, “Julio/Marnie is now in recovery at the ICU of St. Luke’s Global City after the doctors performed the endovascular treatment or what they call the ‘coiling procedure’. According to brainneurysm.com, a catheter is inserted into a vessel over the hip and other catheters are navigated through the blood vessels to the vessels of the brain and into the aneurysm.

“Coils are then packed into the aneurysm up to the point where it arises from the blood vessel, preventing blood flow from entering the aneurysm. This was the 1st choice in the treatment plan. the second procedure of which was the surgery if the coiling didn’t work.

“Thank God for gifting the doctors with amazingly steady and crafty hands. The 1st plan was successful.
