Pari gustong gawing santo si Cory Aquino; Netizens nagwala
ANG daming nagwawalang netizens ang nag-react sa isang Facebook post kung saan iminumungkahi diumano nitong Jesuit priest na si Fr. Catalino Arevalo na i-beatify si former late president Cory Aquino for sainthood.
Grabe! Ang daming Pinoy ang nairita dahil hindi raw nila ma-imagine si Tita Cory to become the 3rd Filipino saint. As much as we would like to respect Fr. Arevalo’s illusion, sana magkape muna siya ng walong tasa para malaman ang sinasabi niya.
We have so much respect for the late Tita Cory at hindi naman niya kasalanan kung merong mga mangmang na naiwan siya sa mundo para magmungkahi ng kung anu-anong kabulastugan in her honor.
That’s the height of illusion para gawing santa si Tita Cory. Is Fr. Arevalo sane? Patahimikin na natin ang kaluluwa niya, huwag na nating ilagay sa alanganin ang revered name niya.
She died peacefully and has left a legacy pero huwag naman sanang ilagay ni Fr. Arevalo ang magandang pangalan ni Tita Cory sa sitwasyong napakaalanganin para paglaruan at madungisan. That’s kasyongahan of this priest if you were to ask me.
Kawawang Tita Cory – napaglaruan tuloy. If he was close to her when she was still alive, the most that he could have done was pay tribute to her – make an event in her honor para his way of pasasalamat.
But to push for a beatification, baka mismong si Tita Cory ang bumangon sa kaniyang grave para umapela. She was a nice lady but she knows in her heart that she was not close to sainthood.
Wake up, man – then sleep again and dream of another thing, okey?
