Binay hindi nababahala matapos maungusan ni Roxas sa SWS survey

MINALIIT lamang ni Vice President Jejomar Binay ang pinakahuling survey ng Social Weather Stations (SWS) matapos siyang maungusan ni dating Interior secretary Mar Roxas kung saan pumangatlo na lamang siya sa mga inaasahang tatakbo sa 2016 presidential polls.

“‘Yong 35 na ‘yon, sa aking palagay, ‘yon pa rin ‘yong aking core. ‘Yon bang bumoto sa akin noong 2010, bumoto para kay Senator Nancy [Binay] noong 2013, at ‘yong mga naging survey noong nakaraan dito sa pagka-presidente, nandoon ‘yon… So naroon pa rin ‘yong core ko,” sabi ni Binay.

Ito’y matapos namang pumangalawa na si Roxas na nakakuha ng 39 porsiyento mula sa dating 21 porsiyento, samantalang bumaba si Binay sa ikatlong puwesto matapos makakuha ng 35 porsiyento.

Inamin naman ni Binay na nasasaktan siya sa pagbaba ng kanyang rating.

“Talagang fluid naman ‘yan, una. Pangalawa, tinitingnan mo kung ‘yong core group mo naroon pa. Kasi ‘yong iba, ‘yong ibang kandidato, bigla-bigla ang taas, bigla-bigla rin ang pagbagsak,” dagdag ni Binay.

Sinabi naman ng tatagapagsalita ni Binay na si Atty. Rico Quicho na ang pagtaas ng rating ni Roxas ay bunsod na rin ng “heavy advertising.”

“Heavy advertising, questionable use of government resources especially on the part of Secretary Roxas, contributed to the bump in his numbers to tie the Vice President, if the margin of error is considered. The Vice President’s core supporters remain growing and solid,” dagdag ni Quicho.
