Pia Wurtzbach napaiyak matapos mapanood si Lea sa Broadway

Sa wakas, na-meet na rin up close and personal ni Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach ang international Pinay singer na si Lea Salonga after niyang mapanood ang Broadway musical nitong “Allegiance”.

Sa official Instagram account ng of Miss Universe, ipinost ni Pia ang picture nila ni Lea matapos ang play na may caption na: “Finally watched Allegiance last night! Starring Ms Lea Salonga.

@msleasalonga is also Filipina. Superb performance from the whole cast. I had tears in my eyes by the end of the show.” It can be recalled that Lea made an open letter addressed to Pia after itong manalo sa Miss Universe.

Lea said, “You have, with your victory, put a smile on the faces of every single Filipino all over the world and made them feel proud to just be Filipino.” Lea added, “If there’s a perfect example of perseverance, training and grit, that would be you.

And that is why that blue-and-silver crown sits atop your head.” Binigyan din niya ng advice si Pia sa pag-handle ng bashers, “Do not allow anyone to take you down even one notch, whatever happens, even if that ‘anyone’ happens to be another Filipino.”
