LRT
Sisimulan na ang public trial ng beep card sa Light Rail Transit Line 1 simula sa Linggo.
Ayon sa Light Rail Transit Authority sismimulan itong ipagamit sa southbound direction ng LRT 1.
“The positive results of the trial at LRT 2 give us and the LRTA the confidence to implement a similar public trial on the southbound direction of LRT 1,” ani Peter Maher, chief executive officer ng AF Payments Inc.
Magbebenta na ng beep card ang lahat ng 20 istasyon sa south bound pero magbebenta pa rin ang mga ito ng Single Journey Tickets.
Ang mga beep card ay mabibili sa halagang P20 at maaaring lagyan ng load hanggang P10,000.
Maaari ng bumili ng beep card bago pa ang pagpapatupad nito. Noong Agosto 10 at 11 ay umabot na sa 15,000 card ang naibenta.
Layunin ng paggamit ng beep card na isang tiket na lamang ang gamitin sa LRT 1, 2 at MRT 3. Mas mabilis din ang pagpasok ng mga pasahero sa istasyon dahil kailangan lamang itong itapat sa machine at hindi na ipinapasok.
