Kris supalpal sa nilait na PGT contestant, sikat na sikat ngayon sa Asia’s Got Talent
ANG nilait ni Kris Aquino ngayon ay sikat na sikat na ngayon.
We’re referring to Gerphil Flores who auditioned as Fame Flores sa Pilipinas Got Talent many years ago. Now known as Gerphil Flores, isa siya sa apat na Pinoy na pasok sa grand finals ng Asia’s Got Talent.
When Fame was pitted against Sherwin sa PGT, talagang dinown siya ni Kris who said na para makilala ay dapat age-appropriate ang kanyang kinanta.
A church choir singer, isang classic song ang kinanta ni Fame sa semi-finals. Natalo siya sa botohan noong mga panahong iyon. We saw her crying but she defiantly said na kahit na ano’ng mangyari ay kakanta pa rin siya ng classical songs.
True enough, in her audition sa Asia’s Got Talent, isang classic song sang in an opera manner ang kanyang ipinanlaban.
It was so moving and touching that the judges were almost teary-eyed.
Sa sobrang galing nga ni Gerphil ay binigyan ito ni David Foster ng golden buzz which enabled her to be in the semi-finals agad-agad.The same scenario was repeated in the semis when she sang another classic song.
Golden buzzer beauty again siya kaya pasok na siya sa grand finals. Sa grand finals naman, buong ningning na ipinakita ni Geprhil ang kanyang hindi matawarang verion ng “Impossible Dream”, the most beautiful rendition we saw so far. Standing ovation na naman ang mga judges, the third time they did.
All out ang support nina Lea Salonga and Regine Velasquez kay Gerphil. “Dear Gerphil Flores, whatever happens at AGT, know that you are incredibly talented with a voice that could’ve only come from the heavens.
“Now is your time, Gerphil. Run with it!!!” tweet ni Lea. Si Regine naman ay nag-post ng caption na ganito sa kanyang Instagram account kung saan nakalagay kung paano iboboto si Gerphil, “Let’s all vote for our #pinoypride God Bless Gerphil Flores.”
Kris’ taste in music is the lowest of low. It only showed that she’s after pop music, mga popular songs na halos wala namang kuwenta. Between her and David Foster, hindi hamak naman na mas mataas ang standard ng huli who knows music from his soul.
Eh, kumusta naman si Kris? Siyempre wala siyang support kay Gerphil. Nilait nga niya ang dalaga noon sa PGT, ‘no!
