KINUMPIRMA kahapon ng Palasyo ang pagkakatalaga ni Pangulong Aquino kay dating Cavite Gov. Erineo S. Maliksi bilang Chairman ng Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
Sinabi ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma na pinirmahan ni Pangulong Aquino ang appointment ni Maliksi noong Abril 17, 2015.
“According to the Office of the Executive Secretary, the President signed the appointment of Erineo S. Maliksi as member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and nominated him as Chairman of the Board,” sabi ni Coloma.
Kaalyado ni Aquino si Maliksi sa Liberal Party.
Nagsilbi si Maliksi bilang governor ng Cavite mula 2001 hanggang 2010 at bilang kongresista mula 1998 hanggang 2001 at mula 2010 hanggang 2013.
Naging mayor din si Maliksi ng Imus, Cavite mula 1988 hanggang 1998.
