Dyosa walk, accent ni MJ Lastimosa fake na fake

Watched the MJ Lastimosa Miss Universe preliminary.

Ang daming nagandahan sa kanyang pagrampa where she sampled Dyosa Walk. Malakas ang hiyawan sa kanyang swimsuit and evening gown ramp.

Sorry but we felt that she was FAKING it all. Her paglalakad was a big FAKE. Females don’t walk that way. It was exaggerated and it was freaking FAAAAAAAAKKKKKKEEEE!!!

And what about her accent? Well, it’s another pekabooo. Naging issue sa social media ang pang-iisnab ng Bb. Pilipinas sa local fashion designers natin when it allowed MJ to wear an Alfredo Barraza gown.

Barraza  is a Columbian fashion designer who also dressed up our Miss Universe candidate Ariella Arida in 2013. Designer Cary Santiago was admirable in posting this message, addressed to Madam Stella Araneta of Bb. Pilipinas Charities.

“Just my two cents: Seeing MJ competing for the title makes me feel proud. But my sentiment is this, anyone sent for global competition wearing a Philippine sash should also wear a Filipino designer.

Where is our pride when what we see on stage is totally not a filipino costume? “I know that my gowns are not even pageant-fit coz that’s not my forte but we have a lot of insanely talented filipino designers who can do way better than what Barazza can do.

Madam Stella should at least try and check on the local creations that we have in the country coz after all, the contestant is representing Philippines and not Colombia.”

Oo nga. It doesn’t make sense that our candidate wears a creation of a fashion designer not from our country. Recall that Barraza caught the collective ire of netizens when Ariella lost on her Miss Universe journey.

Hindi nagustuhan ng mga tao sa social media ang mga chakang gowns na gawa ni Barraza na sinasabing dahilan kung bakit natalo si Ariella.

Masyado ang pananalig ni Stella kay Barraza gayong tila jinx naman ito sa mga candidates natin.
