INAMIN ni Geneva Cruz na mahal pa rin niya ang dating dyowa na si KC Montero.
Pero hindi raw ito “romantic feelings” na gaya ng mga ina-assume ng ilang Marites, kundi bilang isang kapatid o kaibigan.
Ang paglilinaw na ‘yan ay ibinandera niya sa Threads matapos maging guest sa “EXpecially For You” segment ng noontime show na “It’s Showtime.”
Magugunitang binalikan ng dalawa ang naging love story nila noon at hindi naman napigilang maiyak ng batikang singer-actress.

Wika pa niya, “It’s been 16 long years since we were together, and I’m happy with where we are now. I genuinely hope he and his partner have another child and live happily ever after. I mean it [smiling face, folded hands, green heart emojis].”
Kasunod niyan ay inihayag naman niya ang kanyang realizations as an independent woman na hindi kailangan ng lalaki sa buhay.
“Perhaps women like me were born to be independent and self-sufficient, to buy and live in a house on a hill or on a beach, and be one with nature forever. Maybe I am meant to create my own path instead of following a man, to make a difference in the world, maybe watch my future grandchildren play, and grow old with my siblings and best friends,” sambit niya.

Aminado rin si Geneva na “longing” siya sa intimacy katulad ng yakap, halik at holding hands, pero matagal na raw kasi niya itong hindi nararamdaman kaya nasanay na rin siya.

During their guesting sa nasabing programa recently, nagpasalamat sa isa’t-isa sina Geneva at KC sa mga naging magagandang memories nila noon.
Ayon sa TV host, kung hindi dahil kay Geneva ay hindi siya magkakaroon ng pamilya na mayroon siya ngayon.
Ang singer-actress naman ay humiling na sana magka-baby pa si KC at ang misis nito.
Sa kasalukuyan, si KC ay masaya ngayon sa kanyang asawang beauty queen na si Stephanie Dods at anak na si Wyatt.
Kung matatandaan, mahigit sampung taon nagsama sina Geneva at KC bilang mag-asawa matapos magpakasal sa Amerika.
