Boxers ni Pacquiao nanalo sa Batang Pinoy National Finals

ISAMA na ang Labangal, General Santos City bilang isa sa mga lugar na puwedeng pagmulan ng mga mahuhusay na boksingero ng bansa.

Ito ay nasaksihan sa idinaos na 2014 Batang Pinoy National Finals boxing competition noong Sabado nang manalo ng medalya ang anim sa walong inilaban ng delegasyong sinusuportahan ni Manny Pacquiao.

Dahil dito, lumabas bilang pinakamahusay na boxing team ang Labangal at tinalo nila ang Cebu, Mandaue, Escalante at Panabo na may tig-dalawang ginto pero kinapos sa pilak at tansong medalya.

Nanguna sa koponan si Ar-Jay Recopelacio na tinalo si John Paul Estremos ng Cagayan de Oro City sa mosquito (38-40kg) division.

Si Recopelacio ay isa sa mga kuminang sa Pacquiao Boxing Sports Challenge kamakailan.

Nagkampeon din para sa Labangal si Jhon Peter Patrick Cagumay na dinomina si Alan Libo-on ng Bago City sa flyweight (50-52kg) class.

May pilak din sina Reymark Alicaba at John Marlan Genova sa paperweight (42-44kg) at bantamweight (52-54kg) habang ang tansong medalya ay kinuha nina Justin Ryan Loberterros at Redeem Recopelacion sa vacuum (28-30kg) at light pinweight (44-46kg).

Ang Cebu ay sumandal kina Eduardo Jimenez (kiddie 26-28kg) at Jefre Jimenez (antweight 30-32kg), ang Escalante ay ibinandera nina Eduardo Lucenio Jr. (vaccum 28-30kg) at Greg Pableo (powder 34-36kg), ang Mandaue ay binitbit nina Jhon Nino Vega (minimumweight 32-34kg), Vicente Sios-E Jr. (light pinweight 44-46kg) habang ang Panabo ay kinatawan nina John Benedic Cadavido (pinweight 46-48kg) at Jhun Rick Carcedo (bantamweight 52-54kg).

“Marami ang mahuhusay na nakita natin at ang mga nanalo ay puwedeng isama sa mga ABAP tournaments next year,” wika ni national coach Roel Velasco.
