Sarah, Gary, Daniel, Ryzza Mae, Jonalyn waging-wagi sa Star Awards for Music
BIG winner sina Sarah Geronimo, Gary Valenciano, Ryzza Mae Dizon, Jonalyn Viray at Daniel Padilla sa nakaraang 6th Star Awards for Music na ginanap noong Linggo sa Grand Ballroom ng Solaire Resort & Casino sa Parañaque.
Dalawa ang pinarangalan ng Lifetime Achievement Awards sa gabi ng parangal, ang Pilita Corrales Lifetime Achievement Award ay ibinigay sa multi-awarded musical artist na si Lea Salonga, habang ang Parangal Levi Celerio ay ibinigay kay Maestro Ryan Cayabyab.
Waging Pop Album of the Year ang “Expressions” ni Sarah Geronimo na siya ring tinanghal na Female Recording Artist of the Year. Si Daniel Padilla naman ang tinanghal na Male Pop Artist of the Year (I Heart You), Female Pop Artist of the Year naman si Angeline Quinto (Higher Love) at Concert of the Year ang “Arise: Gary V 3.0” ni Gary V.
Siya rin ang nagwaging Male Recording Artist of the Year at Male Concert Performer of the Year. Female Concert Performer of the Year naman si Lea Salonga (Playlist).
Si Gloc 9 ang tinanghal na Rap Artist of the Year at siya rin ang nag-uwi ng Album of the Year (Liham at Lihim), habang Song of the Year naman ang “Help Me Get Over” ni Jonalyn Viray
Nag-tie naman sa New Male Recording Artist of the Year Award sina Richard Yap at Herbert C na isang inmate sa New Bilibid Prison. Naka-Gold at Platinum Record na ang kanyang “Kinabukasan” album.
Ang pamangkin naman ni Nora Aunor na si Marion Aunor ang nagwaging New Female Recording Artist of the Year. Album Cover of the Year naman ang “Hulog Ka Ng Langit” ni Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, habang si Kris Lawrence ang nanalong R&B Artist of the Year at R&B Album of the Year (Spread The Love).
Novelty Song of the Year ang “Cha Cha Dabarkads” nina Jose Manalo, Wally Bayola at Ryzza Mae Dizon. Ang Novelty Album of the Year ay ibinigay kay Vice Ganda na siya ring nanalong Novelty Artist of the Year.
Dance Album of the Year ang “Believe” ni Maja Salvador at Acoustic Album of the Year ang “Acoustic Noel” ni Noel Cabangon na siya ring nagwaging Male Acoustic Artist of the Year, habang ang Female Acoustic Artist of the Year naman ay si Zia Quizon (A Little Bit of Lovin’).
Ang Rock Artist of the Year award at napunta sa Spongecola. Nagsilbi namang hosts sa gabi ng parangal sina Maja Salvador, Jake Cuenca at Christian Bautista.
