2 PNP exec, 11 pa inasunto sa droga

KINASUHAN ng PNP Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) ang 13 pulis para sa umano’y kabiguang iulat ang tamang dami at halaga ng shabu at perang nasamsam mula sa isang raid sa Mexico, Pampanga, noong 2013.
Kabilang sa mga kinasuhan sina Supt. Rodney Baloyo IV, Senior Insp. Joven De Guzman Jr., SPO1 Jules Maniago, SPO1 Donald Roque, SPO1 Ronald Santos, SPO1 Rommel Vital, SPO1 Alcindor Tinio, SPO1 Eligio Valeroso, PO3 Dindo Dizon, PO3 Gilbert De Vera, PO3 Romeo Guerrero Jr., at PO2 Anthony Lacsamana, pawang mga miyembro ng Pampanga Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (PAIDSOTF).
Ipinagharap ang 13 ng kasong paglabag sa Sections 27 (misappropriation), 29 (planting of evidence), at 32 (violating regulations) ng Republic Act 9165 o Comprehensive Anti-Illegal Drugs Law, sabi ni CIDG chief Dir. Benjamin Magalong sa isang kalatas.
Nag-ugat ang mga kaso sa operayong inilunsad ng PAIDSOTF noong Nobyembre 2013, kung saan naaresto ang Chinese national na si Johnson Lee at nasamsam ang tinatayang 200 kilo ng shabu, P55 milyon cash, at isang Toyota Fortuner.
Ayon kay Magalong, nabigo ang 13 miyembro ng task force na iulat ang tamang dami at halaga ng shabu at perang nasamsam kay Lee.
At sa halip na si Lee ang kasuhan, isang Chinese national na nagngangalang Ding Wenkun ang inasunto ng PAIDSOTF matapos taniman ng ebidensya, sabi pa ng CIDG chief.
