Regine balik-serye: Gusto ko light story lang!

Magbabalik soap si Regine Velasquez this year. Last year, nakatatlong major concert ang Asia’s Songbird starting with the repeat of her “Silver” concert plus two “Foursome” with husband Ogie Alcasid and ex-couple Martin Nievera and Pops Fernandez.

This year, she and the Concert King are opening the concert scene with their Valentine concert “Voices of Love” this Feb. 14, 8 p.m. at the SM Mall of Asia Arena.

This is produced by Anna Puno and Cai Velasquez-Mitra, with Rowell Santiago as stage director and musical direction from Louie Ocampo and Raul Mitra.

Happy si Regine that she’s doing the things she love doing and the craft that she started with, singing. The concert scene is now alive again and even her newest album recently turned platinum in spite of the piracy and the ITunes competition.

Nagbabalak nga pala ang producers ng “Voices of Love” na i-tour din ito sa US kapag naging successful just like the original Voices noon nila ni Martin 10 years ago produced by Anna Puno’s late brother naman na si Felix Co of then Maxi Media.

Anyways, we don’t know kung paano pa ito magagawa ni Regine this year dahil bukod sa “Voices of Love”, her promotion of her album and her Sarap Diva cooking show sa GMA na tuloy-tuloy pa rin ang third season, she is also about to start her newest soap with GMA for the second quarter of the year.

Hindi pa raw sila nagmi-meeting ng Kapuso so hindi niya pa alam kung anong klase ang show but just like her last soaps, light lang daw ito. March magsisimula ang taping if everything goes well with the concept meeting.
