Maiqui Pineda tuwang-tuwa sa maagang Pamasko: ‘I’m in clinical remission!’

MASAYANG ibinandera ni Maiqui Pineda, ang asawa ni Robi Domingo, sa social media ang “early Christmas gift” na natanggap niya.
Ayon sa kanya, siya ay nasa “clinical remission” na mula sa kanyang laban sa dermatomyositis, isang bihirang uri ng autoimmune disease!
Ang ibig sabihin niyan, halos hindi na nararamdaman ang mga sintomas ng kanyang kondisyon.
“The best early Christmas gift we could ever ask for – my doctor officially told me that I’m in clinical remission!” sey ni Maiqui sa isang Instagram post, kalakip ang ilang sweet photos nila habang nasa Singapore.
Dagdag niya, “Clinical remission means that the signs and symptoms of my autoimmune disease are now barely detectable, even if the disease may not be completely cured.”

“In short — I’M OKAY!” aniya pa.
Ibinahagi rin ng misis ni Robi na nalaman nila ang magandang balita nitong Nobyembre lamang.
Bagamat may malalaking plano siya para sa susunod na taon, mas nais niya raw ituon ang pansin sa pag-enjoy ng kanyang Pasko.
“Hearing those words during our trip to Singapore in November brought tears to our eyes, especially when my doctor called me a ‘Christmas miracle,’” wika ni Maiqui.
Sambit pa niya, “I’m beyond grateful for this gift and for the prayers and support that helped me keep going. Please know that it made a difference so thank you!”

Sa pamamagitan naman ng vlog, isinalaysay ni Maiqui ang naging journey niya patungo sa clinical remission.
Ayon sa kanya, nakaranas siya ng matinding hair loss, skin allergies, pamamaga at paninigas ng mga daliri, at heart palpitations tuwing gabi.
“Last Christmas was one of the toughest I’ve experienced. I had to skip all the usual celebrations and isolate myself to avoid getting sick, especially with the wedding coming up,” kwento niya.
Patuloy pa niya, “It was hard not being able to see friends or enjoy the holiday festivities, but I knew I had to do it to stay healthy.”
Pag-amin din ni Maiqui, “I couldn’t help but tear up. This is what I prayed for, and so did all of you here. It’s finally real.”
Matatandaang gumawa ng ingay ang asawa ni Robi noong Nobyembre matapos niyang pabulaanan ang kumalat na balitang mayroon na lamang siyang ilang buwan upang mabuhay.
August last year naman nang isinapubliko ng couple ang kondisyon ni Maiqui habang sila ay naghahanda para sa kanilang kasal.
January this nang ikinasal ang dalawa sa Bulacan.
