‘Pepito’ palabas na ng bansa, pero may Signal No. 3 pa rin sa Luzon

NGAYONG araw, November 18, inaasahang lalabas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) ang Bagyong Pepito, ayon sa latest report ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

Huling namataan ang bagyo sa layong 145 kilometers kanluran ng Sinait, Ilocos Sur.

Taglay nito ang lakas na hanging 130 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot ng 160 kilometers per hour.

Kasalukuyan itong kumikilos sa bilis na 30 kilometers per hour pa-hilaga.

Kahit palabas na ng ating bansa ang bagyo, nakataas pa rin sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 3 ang maraming lugar sa Luzon.

Kabilang na riyan ang northern and western portions ng Ilocos Sur (Gregorio del Pilar, Magsingal, San Esteban, Banayoyo, Burgos, City of Candon, Santa Lucia, Santiago, San Vicente, Santa Catalina, Lidlidda, Nagbukel, Sinait, Suyo, Sigay, San Ildefonso, Galimuyod, City of Vigan, San Emilio, Cabugao, Caoayan, San Juan, Santa, Bantay, Santo Domingo, Tagudin, Santa Cruz, Santa Maria, Narvacan, Salcedo), northwestern portion ng La Union (Luna, Bangar, Balaoan, Bacnotan), at western portion ng Abra (San Quintin, Langiden, Pidigan, Pilar).

Signal No. 2 ang Ilocos Norte, the rest of Ilocos Sur, the rest of La Union, Pangasinan, the rest of Abra, western portion ng Mountain Province (Besao, Tadian, Sagada, Bauko), Benguet, at northern portion ng Zambales (Santa Cruz, Candelaria).

Naka-Signal No. 1 naman ang Apayao, Kalinga, the rest of Mountain Province, Ifugao, western portion ng Cagayan (Lasam, Santo Niño, Solana, Enrile, Tuao, Piat, Rizal, Allacapan, Ballesteros, Abulug, Pamplona, Claveria, Santa Praxedes, Sanchez-Mira), Nueva Vizcaya, northern and central portions ng Nueva Ecija (Bongabon, San Leonardo, Cabanatuan City, Santa Rosa, Jaen, Cuyapo, Talavera, Santo Domingo, Rizal, Zaragoza, Llanera, Guimba, Aliaga, Pantabangan, Science City of Muñoz, General Mamerto Natividad, Carranglan, Quezon, San Jose City, Lupao, Nampicuan, Talugtug, Licab, San Antonio, Palayan City, Laur), Tarlac, at central portion ng Zambales (Botolan, Iba, Cabangan, Palauig, Masinloc).

Dahil sa Typhoon Pepito, asahan ang mga pag-ulan sa Ilocos Region, Zambales, at Cordillera Administrative Region ngayong araw, November 18.

May mga pag-ulan din sa Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, CALABARZON, at sa nalalabing bahagi ng Central Luzon na dulot naman ng “trough” o buntot ng bagyo.

Magpapaulan naman ang Easterlies sa Eastern Visayas, Caraga, at Davao Region.
