Carla nagmakaawa sa mga motorista, huwag sagasaan ang mga Aspin

“EVERYONE please, please break for animals on the road. I am begging you. And if you could save a life, please do,” ang pakiusap ni Carla Abellana sa lahat ng motorista.
Nasambit ito ng Kapuso actress nang may madaanan silang Aspin na nasagasaan sa NLEX nitong Lunes ng hatinggabi.
Ipinost ni Carla ang video ng aso na nakabaluktot at nakahiga sa kumot (na pinangbalot niya) habang nasa veterinary clinic. Tahimik at teary-eyed ang aso na halatang in-shock pa.
Aniya, “On my way home from taping last night, we witnessed an aspin get run over along NLEX. Yes, in the middle of NLEX. The crying of the aspin broke my heart. I had to beg Kuya Bong (my Driver) to stop right away.

“I couldn’t just leave him/her there- alive or not. And as soon as we managed to park safely by the side, I grabbed my blanket and just ran for my life on the side of the road, looking for the hit and run victim. We couldn’t find him/her and I was starting to panic.
“I asked Kuya Bong to get me a flashlight and we started focusing on the shrubby area by the side of the road. The aspin was still nowhere in sight,” sabi ni Carla sa kanyang post.

“Thankfully, a few moments later, Anna (my personal assistant) found him laying on the shrubs, motionless. He was skin and bones, appeared to be very young and a bit cold to the touch. But he was still blinking. That’s when I knew we had to move quickly to bring him to the nearest 24/7 Vet Hospital.
“We layed him on the floor of my van, covered in my blanket, and I sat on the floor with him to make sure he stayed awake and warm. I grabbed my rosary, laid it on top of his head and said a quick prayer,” saad pa ng aktres.
Habang bumibiyahe ay kinakausap ni Carla ang aso at sinasabihang ilaban ang kanyang buhay, “Along the way I just kept talking to him and telling him to fight. More like pleading. His blinking was slowing down and he still wasn’t moving at all.
“I just kept rubbing his head and ears, assuring him that if he keeps fighting he’ll be eating so much chicken, rice and even steak with us. I also told him he was such a brave boy because he managed to drag himself off the road.
“When we arrived at the 24/7 Vet Hospital, I made sure he got attended to immediately. He weighed only a little over 7kg, had such a gentle demeanor and a cute face. I could see his wounds at that point,” pagbabahagi ng aktres.
Laking pasalamat ni Carla dahil ligtas na ang doggie, “God gave us another miracle last night when the Vet came out and said, “Ang lakas niya! No broken bones”. His x-ray results showed no fracture, no broken bones, no internal damage to any of his organs. What a miracle indeed.”

At dahil wala namang micro-chips si aspin kaya pinangalanan niya itong, “I couldn’t think of a name for him so I decided to just name him what I call all dogs- PUPPY.”
At pakiusap pa ng aktres, “Everyone, please, please break for animals on the road. I am begging you. And if you could save a life, please do.”
Kahapon nang umaga ay nakatanggap ng update si Carla sa kalagayan ni Puppy mula sa vet clinic, “Good morning po, updates for Puppy, Quiet but responsive, mostly asleep, still dehydrated, UB (undesirable behavior) intact, no internal bleeding, pale gums, no pee, no poop, or vomit noted. Parvo, corona, distemper virus negative.”
Ang daming nagpasalamat na netizens kay Carla sa ginawa niyang pagliligtas kay Puppy at narito ang ilang nabasa namin.
“Thank you Carla for having such a big heart and saving that puppy. I am your fan now from Toronto, Canada (heart and praying hands emoji).
“Naiyak ako, ‘yung aso ko recently lang namatay dahil rin sa hit and run. Sabi ng mga nakakita nakangiti pa daw ‘yung taxi driver that time. I’m glad this puppy was saved by you Ate Carla.”
“A miracle indeed. Thank you for saving, Puppy.”
“It’s really a miracle that he’s safe and not injured. Probably it’s because of your prayer miracle it is.”
“Madam Carlaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, napakabuti po ninyo. Pagpalain nawa kayo. Dumami pa nawa projects niyo po. At sana dumami din mga katulad ninyo na may puso sa mga hayop.”
