Kris ‘cancer-free’, pero ‘life-threatening’ ang 3 autoimmune; may TV comeback pa?

MAY bagong update si Kris Aquino patungkol sa kanyang kalusugan, pati na rin sa kaabang-abang na sorpresa niya para sa fans.
Sa latest Instagram post, ibinandera ng Queen of all Media ang napakahaba niyang mensahe kalakip ang caption na, “My story. My life. My new reality” at hashtags na “bawal sumuko, tuloy ang laban, at love love love.”
Unang ibinunyag ni Kris na na-confine siya sa ospital nang umuwi dito sa Pilipinas upang magsagawa ng ilang laboratory tests.
Ang good news, siya ay cancer-free!
“Clear intestines. No visible sign of cancer,” sey sa bahagi ng kanyang post.
Ngunit ang ikinakatakot niya raw ay ‘yung tatlong autoimmune conditions niya na “life-threatening” – ang Churg Strauss na ang tawag ngayon ay EGPA, Systemic Sclerosis or SCLERODERMA at ang LUPUS o Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE).

“I now have 5, possibly 6 autoimmune conditions. But the scary part is that 3 of the diagnosed ones are life threatening in other words- pwedeng ma-damage my vital organs or my blood vessels, specifically my artery connecting my lungs to my heart- to the extent na I can die immediately from a stroke or aneurysm or cardiac arrest,” paliwanag ni Kris.
Nabanggit din ni Kris na hirap siyang maglakad ngayon dahil sa isang iniinda niyang autoimmune.
“I am now suffering from a Lupus Arthritis flare. Deep bone pain,” wika niya.
Patuloy ni Kris, “Hirap ako to walk without assistance. I’ll start my physical rehabilitation therapy in a few days. But I need to do so with a walker.”

Maliban pa riyan, ibinunyag niya rin na mahina ang kanyang immune system: “My immunity is zero. Ang ubo for me can easily be pneumonia and ICU confinement. Strict rule, no direct even indirect sun exposure or my lupus flares will be triggered as well as my Scleroderma.”
Gayunpaman, ipinangako ng TV host na hindi siya susuko sa kanyang laban.
At kasabay niyan, ibinunyag niya na magkakaroon siya ng television comeback sa ABS-CBN bago matapos ang taong 2024.
“Para hindi kayo magsawang magdasal Sabi nyo, you miss watching me. I want to thank my former ABS-CBN bosses for allowing Jasmin and Darla to work with me on a show which will launch before 2024 ends,” lahad niya.
“Secret muna ‘yung concept, but you will get to see my pres’nt day journey and as much as possible the reality of Kris, Bimb, and my ‘through the years” best friends (my extended family) and definitely my team of doctors who are now among my most trusted friends,” aniya pa.
Magugunitang noong Setyembre lamang nang bumalik dito sa ating bansa si Kris kasama ang dalawa niyang anak matapos magpagamot ng ilang taon sa Amerika.
