Kathryn, Kaila 'pambato' para sa Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024

TILA naging pambato ng ating bansa ang dalawang aktres na sina Kathryn Bernardo at Kaila Estrada sa Asian Academy Creative Awards 2024.

Sila kasi ang “national winners” sa nasabing awarding event –nakuha ni Kathryn ang Best Actress in a Leading Role, habang si Kaila ang Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

Para sa kaalaman ng marami, ang national winners ay considered na nominado sa nasabing event na kung saan ang makakalaban nila ay mula sa iba’t-ibang bansa.

Mangyayari ang awarding ceremony sa Singapore sa darating na December 3 at 4.

Anyway, ang pagkilala kay Kathryn ay dahil sa mahusay niyang pagganap bilang Philomena Angeles sa 2023 black comedy thriller film na “A Very Good Girl,” habang si Kaila ay napansin dahil sa kanyang magaling na performance bilang Sylvia Lualhati sa thriller drama series na “Linlang.”

Nakuha rin ng nabanggit na serye ang Best Drama Series, at si JM de Guzman na isa sa tampok nito ay nagwagi ng Best Actor in a Supporting Role. 

Bukod diyan, ang TV and movie director na si Mae Cruz-Alviar ang Best Direction dahil sa “Can’t Buy Me Love” na pinagbibidahan nina Belle Mariano and Donny Pangilinan.

Ang Philippine adaptation naman nina Kim Chiu at Paulo Avelino na “What’s wrong with Secretary Kim?” ay magiging pambato naman para sa kategoryang Best Adaptation of an Existing Format.

Ilan pa sa mga ABS-CBN shows na-recognize ay ang “ASAP Natin ‘To Live in Milan” para sa Best Music or Dance Program at ang “It’s Showtime” na naging Best General Entertainment Program.
