‘Enteng’ tatama sa Isabela, Cagayan; 10 lugar sa Luzon Signal No. 2 na

LUMAKAS at naging isang Tropical Storm na ang Bagyong Enteng, ayon sa 8 a.m. weather update ng PAGASA.

Huling namataan ang bagyo 100 kilometers North Northwest of Daet, Camarines Norte o 115 kilometers East Northeast of Infanta, Quezon.

Taglay nito ang lakas na hanging 75 kilometers per hour malapit sa gitna at bugsong aabot sa 90 kilometers per hour.

Kasalukuyan itong kumikilos pa-hilaga sa bilis na 15 kilometers per hour.

Babala ng weather bureau, posibleng mag-landfall ang bagyo sa Isabela o Cagayan pagdating ng hapon o gabi.

Hindi rin nila inaalis ang tsansa na tumama rin sa lupa sa bahagi ng Aurora at Babuyan Islands.

“ENTENG may possibly make landfall over Isabela or Cagayan this afternoon or tonight. Shall the forecast track shift further to the west, landfall over the northern portion of Aurora is not ruled out,” wika sa weather bulletin.

Dagdag pa, “From tomorrow early morning (3 September), ENTENG will generally turn west northwestward. Possible landfall over Babuyan Islands is also not ruled out.”

Sinabi rin ng PAGASA na mananatiling nasa Tropical Storm category ang sama ng panahon hanggang Martes, September 3, at ito ay inaasahang lalo pang lalakas sa Severe Tropical Storm pagdating ng Miyerkules, September 4.

Inaasahan din na maging isang Typhoon si Enteng sa Huwebes o Biyernes, September 5 o 6.

Bilang lumakas ang bagyo, may Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 na sa ilang lugar sa Luzon.

Kabilang na riyan ang northeastern portion of Camarines Norte, northeastern portion of Camarines Sur, Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, eastern portion of Isabela, northern portion of Aurora, Polillo Islands, eastern portion of Quirino, northern portion of Apayao, at eastern portion of Kalinga.

Narito naman ang iba pang bahagi ng Luzon na nananatili sa Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1: Batanes, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, eastern portion of Pangasinan, Abra, the rest of Apayao, the rest of Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Benguet, the rest of Isabela, the rest of Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, the rest of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, eastern portion of Pampanga, eastern portion of Bulacan, Metro Manila, Rizal, Laguna, the eastern portion of Batangas, the rest of Quezon, Marinduque, the rest of Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes, and northern portion of Masbate including Ticao and Burias Islands.

Dahil sa Bagyong Enteng asahan ang stormy weather sa Cagayan including Babuyan Islands, Isabela, Aurora, at Camarines Norte.

Magiging maulan rin na may malakas na bugso ng hangin sa Cordillera Administrative Region, Quezon, at ang nalalabing bahagi ng Cagayan Valley at Bicol Region.

Mararanasan naman ang kalat-kalat na pag-ulan sa Metro Manila, natitirang bahagi ng CALABARZON, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, Marinduque, Romblon, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, at Northern Samar.

Bilang may epekto pa rin ang Habagat, humanda sa occasional rains ang La Union, Pangasinan, Northern Palawan, Occidental Mindoro, Oriental Mindoro, at ang nalalabing bahagi ng Central Luzon.

Pati na rin ang Western Visayas, Negros Island Region, at ang iba pang lugar sa MIMAROPA.
