TOTOONG naisip ng aktor na si Markus Paterson na huwag nang bumalik sa Pilipinas upang karirin ang pangarap niyang maging sundalo sa United Kingdom.
Yan ang rebelasyon ng ex-partner ni Janella Salvador nang makachikahan siya ng BANDERA at ilang piling miyembro ng showbiz media sa presscon ng Vivamax Plus original BL (Boy’s Love) series na “Pretty Boys”.

“It was true. I feel like yung tatay ko kasi is getting a bit older and I am a family-oriented person kaya parang these last years of his life, I want to spend with him and with my family sa UK.

“Inisip ko yun pero, of course, nandito rin sa Pilipinas ang anak ko. So, work first and family at the same time. Ang hirap kasi mag-balance ng both priorities, di ba? I did consider it and I’m still considering it,” pahayag ni Markus na ang tinutukoy ay ang anak nila ni Janella na si Jude.
Pero wala naman daw sa isip niya ang tuluyang layasan ang kanyang showbiz career, “Hindi ko naman inisip mag-quit. I just like to balance both lives ko, yung sa UK life at saka sa life ko sa Philippines.”
Natanong namin si Markus kung hanggang saan ang kaya niyang gawin when it comes to paghuhubad o pakikipag-love scene.

Sa latest project kasi niyang “Pretty Boys” ay gumaganap siyang beki at napapayag pang makipaghalikan sa kapwa lalaki.
“I have to consider the fact na, of course, I’m a father na. I have limitations also. I would never go nude, full frontal, or butt exposure. I just don’t see the point of taking my clothes off, unless the movie requires it,” paliwanag ng aktor.
Pero hindi naman daw siya nag-alangan na gawin ang BL series na “Pretty Boys” kahit gay role ang ginagampanan niya sa kuwento.

“I like to think of myself as an actor and I don’t like to turn down roles. You can’t grow as an actor if you don’t challenge yourself, if you don’t push yourself to think outside the box.
“Ayaw ko lang ma-trap, ma-typecast or whatever. Lahat ng roles, I accept.And this was a really fun role, a great script, a great director, great actors. Sobrang nag-enjoy ako,” sabi ni Markus.
Sa tanong kung wala siyang fear na baka ma-typecast siya sa mga gay role, “I think I’ve done enough before. Hindi ako natatakot doon. But if ever na ma-typecast ako, at least, I know that I’m comfortable.”
Mapapanood sa Vivamax Plus ang “Pretty Boys” kung saan makakasama rin ni Markus sina Tommy Alejandrino at Kiel Aguilar, mula sa direksyon ni Ivan Payawal.
