KITANG-KITA ang pagka-shock ni Piolo Pascual nang tawagin ang kanyang pangalan bilang Best Actor para sa pelikulang “Mallari” sa naganap na 7th The EDDYS kagabi, July 7.
Unexpected daw para kay Piolo ang pagkapanalo niya sa The EDDYS o ang Entertainment Editors’ Choice 2024 dahil nga matitindi rin ang mga nakalaban niya sa pagka-best actor.
Ang mga nakatunggali niya sa naturang acting category ay sina Elijah Canlas (Keys to the Heart), Dingdong Dantes (Rewind), Cedrick Juan (GomBurZa), Piolo Pascual (Mallari), Alden Richards (Five Breakups And A Romance), at Romnick Sarmenta (About Us But Not About.”

“Nanginginig pa rin ako. I was not expecting to win, so forgive me for shaking. I share this award to all the nominees — Romnick Sarmenta, you are my best actor,” bahagi ng speech ni Papa P.

At tungkol naman sa paggawa muli ng mga romantic-comedy films, “I don’t think I’ll ever graduate doing rom-coms, because ‘yung genre natin, kinalakihan natin iyan eh.
“That’s timeless eh, no matter how old you are, you can always be romantic. You can always do a love story,” sabi pa ng EDDYS best actor.
