“Since I was a little kid, I love to sing especially on the karaoke. ‘Yun ‘yung bonding namin ng pamilya ko growing up. And then I went to school, I sang in my school tuwing first Friday Mass,” pag-alala niya.
Sey pa ni Sue, “Pero wala akong formal training, but I used to always watch musical movies. I love ‘Mama Mia,’ I love ‘Phantom of the Opera,’ I love ‘Les Misarables.’ So I grew up with all these broadway plays turned into movies.”

“So bata pa lang ako, gusto ko nang mag-try mag-theater…going to show business when I was 13 years old, I mostly got projects for TV and movies but there’s always inside of me really wanting to explore more. Parang there’s more to acting than just saying your lines. I wanted to do musical talaga. It was always a dream of mine growing up,” pag-amin niya.
“Doble talaga ‘yung work I put into this kasi I know that I’m working with veteran theater actors and I really have to catch up, but they don’t make me feel that naman. But yeah, since I was a kid, I always wanted to do theater,” saad niya.
A with the entertainment press.

“Actually, a lot of people gets surprised that I know how to sing –and still improving with the help of our musical director and amazing Ejay Yatco and also our Director Toff De Venecia,” sambit niya matapos pansinin ng isang taga-media ang kanyang singing talent.
Aniya pa, “I’m still learning a lot and I think I have a lot more to improve, but I’m very, very excited for our actual first show…so ayun po, Thank you po for noticing my singing abilities.”
Wika niya, “It’s a totally different world out here. What I like about doing theater is they encourage you to make mistakes. Unlike TV it’s fast phased, so kailangan take one ka lang lagi.
Dagdag pa ng aktres, “These people really inspires me. They’ve been so helpful.”
Star-studded ang “Little Shop of Horrors” dahil bukod kay Sue, tampok din diyan sina Karylle, Nyoy Volante, Reb Atadero, Markki Stroem, David Ezra, Audie Gemora, OJ Mariano, Mikee Baskiñas, Abi Sulit, Paula Paguio, Julia Serad, at marami pang iba.
Ang show ay bilang parte ng selebrasyon para sa ika-10th anniversary ng The Sandbox Collective.
Mapapanood ito simula July 6 hanggang July 28 sa Globe Auditorium, Maybank Performing Arts Theater sa BGC.
