“I don’t, I’m sorry. Beauty to me is something that needs to age like wine,” ang pahayag ng beteranang aktres sa panayam ng “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda” nang tanungin kung sang-ayon ba siya sa pananaw ni Gloria.

Patuloy pa ni Pilar Pilapil, “I remember those pictures that I had when I was very young, and I didn’t look as…this is my opinion, I look better when I was already older. Not when I was very young, definitely.”
“Because in the first place you go through many, many stages in your life as a young person.

“You go through, for instance, a heartbrokenness, you go through so many problems and struggles in life. It takes time to be happy,” paliwanag ng aktres at magaling na kontrabida.
Dagdag pa niya, “So when you are happy, that’s when you become beautiful.”

“I remember that. I said, ‘What do you think?’ And he smiled and then I went,” aniya kasabay ng pagsasabing hindi raw niya talaga hinangad noon ang magwagi.
“I wasn’t thinking of that. I was not really a full-grown woman. I was just a kid. I was a young girl.
“I was surrounded with beautiful women and some gentlemen that were eyeing us around. it was quite an experience but as a young girl, it was quite overwhelming,” ang pag-amin pa ni Pilar Pilapil.
