DALAWANG taon mula nang kunan ang romantic drama na “Chances Are, You and I,” hindi nag-usap ang on-screen partners na sina Kira Balinger at Kelvin Miranda.
Ito ang ibinunyag mismo ni Kira nang makapanayam siya ng INQUIRER Entertainment kamakailan lang.
“It was best that we didn’t at the time, that we healed first,” sey ni Kira.
Paliwanag niya, “We just chose to let time pass and not react to what people were saying about us because they weren’t true, anyway.”
“That’s why we can show up better now, because we took that time away from each other,” wika pa ng aktres.

Matatandaang inakusahan ni Roselle Vytiaco, isang content creator, si Kira na siyang naging third party sa paghihiwalay nila ni Kelvin na itinanggi na noon ng Kapamilya actor.
Samantala, November 2021 nang mag-umpisang nagkatrabaho ang tandem dito sa Maynila at noong February 2022 naman nang magtungo sila sa South Korea para ituloy ang taping ng pelikula.
“We’re OK. As colleagues, we both show up for work. I can say that we’re both professional when it comes to handling our jobs,” dagdag ni Kira.
Pahayag pa niya, “This is a beautiful film. Direk Catherine [Camarillo] and her team gave their all for this movie. It’s only right that we show up for them as well.”
Nilinaw din ng aktres na magkaibigan sila ngayon ni Kelvin at hindi naman daw mabubuo nang maayos ang movie nila kung may isyu pa rin sila sa isa’t-isa.
Nang tanungin naman siya noong first time silang nag-usap ni Kelvin, ito ang chinika ni Kira, “When we saw each other again to discuss the promo, there was tension.”
“I didn’t know how he would react. I also didn’t know how I would react. Was I really over it? Am I healed or am I just distracted? Now, I can really say that it’s done already,” dagdga niya.
Sambit pa niya, “I chose to forgive and move on because that’s the right thing for me to do.”
Itinanggi namang sagutin ni Kira ang question tungkol sa estado ng kanyang lovelife at sinabi na ang romantic status niya as of now ay walang kinalaman sa proyekto.
“This is work and this is a responsibility,” giit niya.
