“WE have to be original!”

Alam mo, as long as we keep copying, we will never be original and we’ll be nothing more but second grade trying hard copycats!”

“So we have to be original and we have to be Filipino,” giit niya.

I have to seat back and open the chances to everybody.”

“We need to see the importance of a cinema carrying a distinct soul of the Filipino but understood and appreciated by the world,” saad ng direktor sa isang pahayag.

Ani pa niya, “The future of Philippine cinema demands the respect of the past, the resourcefulness in maneuvering the present scenario and looking ahead not by wishful thinking but through concrete engagements serving a single purpose: the advancement of film.”
