“Kung gusto niyo talagang magka-baby, kahit gaano kahirap ‘yan, makaka-survive talaga kayo as in.

I will always open the door and wash the dishes for you

“I want to address this to all the women out there who you know, have been lied to by society that the most important thing that you can ever amount to is the career you put out there,” pag-open up niya sa usapin.

Ang advice niya, “if you have a desire to have children, to have a family, huwag mong i-push down ‘yan tapos sasabihin mo: ‘Hindi! I’ve met so many incredible women who got out of med school, got married, got pregnant immediately, and then started doing their residency. Nag-medical school sila, nag-law school sila while they’re raising their family.”

“If women have done it before, what is stopping us from doing it right now. Children are not a hindrance to our dreams,” giit niya.

“If anything, they will fuel you to drive better, to be more proactive about your dreams but to have new dreams, like, I didn’t know that a new dream could be as simple as I want to learn to cook better, I want to be able to travel with small children, I want to build a beautiful home for my family,” kwento pa niya.

Dagdag ng TV host, “I think we live now in a society that looks at children as burdens, but they’re not. Children are not burdens, it will require a lot of work, yes. It will require a lot of sacrifice, selflessness, sleepless nights, lifestyle changes, but it is absolutely the most beautiful journey that you could be on not only as a mom but also as husband and wife.”

“Kasi parang meron you have that kind of love that you develop between the two of you once you have children,” sambit niya.

Chika pa niya, “Kasi iba na siya eh, parang, ‘wow, imagine we brought  the soul together on earth. It’s a little bit of you and a little bit of me.’ But it’s an entirely new human being and God appointed us as the parents of this amazing beautiful child. And that gives you a different taste of a different kind of love.”
