Ed Sheeran nag-enjoy mag-karaoke, sey niya sa Ben&Ben: Bloody brilliant!

GOOD vibes ang hatid ng recent social media post ng sikat na international singer na si Ed Sheeran.
Ito ‘yung Instagram video kung saan ibinandera niya ang behind-the-scenes bago mag-umpisa ang kanyang Manila concert sa SMDC Festival Ground sa Paranaque city noong March 9.
Mapapanood sa post na nagdala ng portable karaoke machine si Ed sa backstage at ito ang naging bonding nila ng folk-pop band na Ben&Ben at isa pang sikat na international singer na si Calum Scott, na mga special guest sa kanyang concert tour.
Nakakatuwa dahil parang magbabarkada lang sila at nadamay rin sa masaya nilang moments ang ilang staff na bumubuo sa show.
Ilan lamang sa mga kanta na nag-enjoy sila ay ang mga hit na “Love On Top” ni Beyonce, “Dancing Queen” ng Abba, “This Love” ng Maroon 5, at “Thinking Out Loud” na single mismo ni Ed.

“Karaoke is a huge thing here in the Philippines, so I found a portable machine to wheel around backstage before the show in Manila,” masayang caption niya.
Wika pa niya, “Shout out to @benandbenmusic and @calumscott for bringing the A game. And to Kev for joining in the fun.”

Kahit ang Ben&Ben mismo, hindi makapaniwala sa mga nangyari at chinika rin nila ang masayang karaoke bonding nila with the British singer-songwriter.
“After our set, sinalubong niya kami backstage at kinamayan niya kaming lahat. Nakipagkwentuhan pa muna siya ng konti samin, na parang kaibigan lang namin,” kwento ng banda.
Dagdag pa nila, “Grabe, we still can’t believe it. Para kaming nasa panaginip. We’re so grateful. We’re extremely happy. Sobrang kinikilig pa rin kami hanggang ngayon.”
“To share the stage with such a genuine and brilliant artist is a great honor and more than that, to have conversations with this very same person is beyond our wildest dreams,” ani pa ng grupo.

Sa hiwalay na IG post, ibinandera naman ni Ed ang kanyang appreciation post para sa OPM band na ayon sa kanya ay pinahanga siya dahil sa galing at husay nila sa musika.
“What I love to do is discovering local music. I heard this band Ben&Ben and I loved them, and got them to open up [my show],” sey niya na maririnig sa video.
Lahad naman niya sa caption, “Got to have the fantastic @benandbenmusic open up the Manila show then sing one of their biggest hits with both their lead singers in the show.”
“This is ‘Maybe the Night’ – check them out if you don’t know they’re bloody brilliant,” wika niya.

Tatlong beses nang bumisita at nagtanghal sa Pilipinas ang international British popstar – una ay noong 2015 at ang sumunod ay noong 2018.
