Kris Bernal feeling ‘superhero’ sa pagdo-donate ng breastmilk: I save lives

“NOT all superheros wear capes.”
‘Yan ang naging caption ng first time celebrity mom na si Kris Bernal sa kanyang social media post matapos ihayag na pakiramdam niya ay isa siyang “superhero.”
Tingin nga ni Kris, “superpowers” niya ang oversupply ng pagpo-produce ng breastmilk dahil marami siyang natutulungang mommies.
Sa Instagram, ibinandera ng aktres ang isang video ng pangongolekta niya ng breastmilk.
Makikita rin na napuno na nito ang kanyang refrigerator at sa huli ng video ay mapapanood ang pagbibigay niya ng breastmilk.
Ayon kay Kris, hindi gusto ng kanyang anak na si Hailee ang ininit lamang na breastmilk kaya madalas ay dino-donate niya ito sa mga nanay na nangangailangan nito.
“I haven’t talked about it but God truly blessed me with an oversupply,” caption niya.
Sey pa niya, “He even blessed me more by how I am able to donate to precious NICU babies or preemies and other moms who haven’t been able to do the same [folded hands emoji].”
May nabanggit pa siya na may regular siyang binibigyan ng breastmilk dahil na-diagnose ito ng breast cancer.
“Due to her chemotherapy, she cannot breastfeed. Her strong, healthy, normal miracle baby is named after the patron of people with cancer, Saint Ezekiel Moreno [holding back tears emoji],” chika niya.
Dagdag pa niya, “I believe not all superheroes wear capes. I make milk, I save lives. It’s my superpower, eyyy?! [emojis] Happy International Women’s Day!”

Napa-react naman sa post ang kanyang mister na si Perry Choi at proud na sinabing, “Wow I’m married to a superhero [happy face emoji].”
Nagkomento rin ang ilang fellow celebrities na humanga sa kabaitan at mabuting gawain ni Kris.

Matatandaang ikinasal sina Kris at Perry noong 2021 sa isang simbahan sa Makati City.
Isinilang naman ni Kris ang kanilang panganay na si Hailee Lucca noong Agosto ng nakaraang taon.
