NANAWAGAN ang “It’s Showtime” host na si Anne Curtis tungkol sa “critical threat” na nangyayari ngayon sa Masungi Georeserve.
Sa kanyang X (dating Twitter) account, ibinahagi niya ang tweet Masungi Georeserve ukol sa kasalukuyang multiple drilling operations na nangyayari sa lugar.
“URGENT ALERT: Critical Threat to Masungi’s Biodiversity Unveiled! In a shocking revelation, our drone surveillance uncovered multiple drilling operations by Rizal Wind Energy Corp., backed by Singapore-based Vena Energy, aggressively breaching the pristine Masungi limestone formation,” ayon sa tweet ng Masungi Georeserve X page na ni-retweet ni Anne.
Ang Masungi Georeserve ay isang conservation area na matatagpuan southern Sierra Madre range sa Baras, Rizal.
Saad pa ni Anne, “I hope attention is brought to this. We really need to start prioritising what beauty we have left!”
“Specially places that are close to the Metro. Konti na lang [natitira] na malapit [sad emoji],” pagpapatuloy niya.

Base sa post ng Masungi, nagkakaroon ng multiple drilling operations ang Rizal Wind Energy Corporation na suportado ng Singapore-based Vena Energy.
At dahil nga sa patuloy na drilling operations ay nasisira ang limestone formation sa lugar at nabubulaboh ang mga wild animals na naninirahan doon.
Marami naman sa mga netizens ang humanga kay Anne dahil sa paggamit nito ng kanyang platform upang manawagan na aksyunan ang nagaganap sa Masungi Georeserve.
