Regine Velasquez aminadong hindi bet maging music teacher, bakit kaya?

NEVER sumagi sa isipan ng tinaguriang Asia’s Songbird na si Regine Velasquez na magtayo ng sariling music school o kaya naman ay maging music teacher.
‘Yan ang inamin ng batikang mang-aawit matapos siyang tanungin ng INQUIRER Entertainment kung may balak nga siyang magturo ng musika professionally balang araw.
“Baka ‘di na ‘yan kaya ng powers ko,” sagot niya sa panayam.
Sey niya, “I don’t picture myself as a teacher. I don’t want to end up just teaching nonsense to them. ‘Wag na lang.”
Gayunpaman, tiniyak niya na pwede pa rin siyang lapitan ng music artists sakaling kailangan nila ng advice pagdating sa pagkanta.
“I’m happy that these young artists come to me when they want my advice on something,” sambit niya.
Paliwanag niya, “I feel happy because I get to share with them my experiences. I have no problem with that aspect. I feel that’s how it should be.”

“In the 37 years I have been singing, what will I do with all those experiences? Will they just die with me? I might as well share my experiences with kids,” dagdag niya.
Sambit pa ng veteran singer, “Hopefully, my words of wisdom will make their journey a little less stressful.”
Nabanggit din ng iconic singer kung ano ang madalas niyang ipayo at ‘yan daw ay lagi lang magpakita, lalo na sa mga fans, regardless kung ano ang sitwasyon o pinagdadaanan.
“That’s all they have to do. Whatever the state of their minds and hearts at the moment, whatever the quality of their voice is, they should just show up. It’s true what they say that ‘the show must go on.’ It really has to,” pagbabahagi ni Regine.
Patuloy niya, “The audiences don’t know what’s happening to you and they don’t really need to know. You just have to keep showing up.”
Ayon pa sa kanya, ang kanyang nabanggit ay parte talaga ng trabaho bilang bahagi ng showbiz industry.
“That’s what we do—we are entertainers,” wika niya.
Chika pa niya, “I hope that I am able to say this often enough. You have to keep repeating yourself to them so that they will absorb what you’re saying.”
Para sa kaalaman ng marami, si Regine ang isa sa best-selling Filipino music artist of all time na nakabenta na ng mahigit seven million records sa bansa.
