MTRCB ipinatawag ang distributor ng ‘Third World Romance’ dahil sa uncensored trailer ng pelikula
IPINATITIGIL ng Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) ang pagpapalabas ng trailer ng pelikulang “Third World Romance”.
Ito ay dahil hindi pa umano nare-review ng board ang kontrobersyal na trailer kung saan maririnig si Charlie Dizon, isa sa mga bida sa pelikula na nagsasabi ng hindi angkop na salita.
Nitong Miyerkules, naglabas ng “Notice to Appear and Testify” ang MTRCB sa pamamagitan ng chairman nitong si Lala Sotto laban sa distributor ng naturang pelikula ukol sa pagpapalabas ng “unclassified and unrated version” ng trailer na nagmumura ang aktres.
“It has come to our attention that an unclassified and unrated version of the trailer of ‘Third World Romance’ with the expletive phrase ‘putang ina’ in one of the scenes is being exhibited in cinemas,” ayon sa memorandum na inilabas ng ahensya.
Base sa Section 1, Article III, of Memorandum Circular No. 04-2014 ng MTRCB, kinakailangang “approved and passed by the agency” ang mga trailers ng pelikulang ipinapalabas for public consumption.
Ang “Third World Romance” ay pinagbibidahan ng real life couple na sina Carlo Aquino at Charlie Dizon sa direksyon ni Direk Dwein Baltazar.
“We strongly advise that you refrain from exhibiting the said version of the trailer. Further, a Notice to Appear and Explain will be served to the distributor/producer of the said trailer,” dagdag pa ng MTRCB.
Samantala, kasalukuyang showing sa mga sinehan ang naturang pelikula na nag-premiere kahapon, August 16.
