Michelle Dee ‘work mode’ agad sa unang araw ng pagiging Miss Universe PH 2023

FIRST day pa lang ng bagong Miss Universe Philippines titleholder na si Michelle Marquez Dee ay abalang-abala na ito sa kanyang trabaho bilang bagong reyna.
Sa pamamagitan ng Twitter, nag-update si Michelle na sumabak na siya sa kauna-unahan niyang press conference.
Nabanggit din niya na binabasa niya isa-isa ang mga nag-uumapaw na mensahe sa kanya at lubos siya nagpapasalamat sa mga nakukuhang suporta.
Tweet ni Michelle, “Day 1!! Just finished my first press conference as Miss Universe Philippines!!”
“Checking all of your messages now [white heart, sparkles emojis] I feel the love. Maraming salamat po,” sey pa niya.

Baka Bet Mo: Michelle Dee humakot ng special awards sa preliminary competition ng Miss Universe PH 2022
Magugunitang katatapos lang ng coronation night ng MUPH at si Michelle ang nag-uwi ng korona.
Dahil din diyan, siya ang magiging kinatawan ng Pilipinas upang kalabanin ang iba’t-ibang bansa sa magaganap na Miss Universe pageant sa El Salvador bago matapos ang taong ito.
Kung nasaksihan niyo ang laban kagabi (May 13), marami ang pinabilib ni Michelle sa kanyang sagot sa huling katanungin sa “question and answer” portion.
Ang tanong sa Top 5 finalists, “Recently, the Department of Tourism has adopted a new branding campaign, ‘We give the world our best.’ For you, what is the best that we can offer to the rest of the world? Why do you consider it so?”
Ang naging winning answer naman diyan ng reigning Miss Universe Philippines, “The Philippines is home to very beautiful, natural resources – from the beaches, the mountains.”
“But I firmly believe that the best natural resource that the Philippines has is us Filipinos. We are the true heart and soul of the Philippines. With the way we are hospitable, with our warm smiles – and we are the reason why the world keeps coming back for more,” patuloy niya.
Ani pa ni Michelle, “No matter where the universe takes me, I’ll always be proud to call the Philippines my home. And no matter what happens I will always be proud to call myself Pinoy.”
Si Michelle ang naging pambato ng Makati City na kung saan ay dinaig niya ang 37 pang mga kandidata ng nasabing kompetisyon.
Sa preliminary competition kamakailan, tinanggap niya ang mga titulong Miss Aqua Boracay, Miss Pond’s, at Miss Zion Philippines.
Samantala, ang naging first runner-up sa MUPH 2023 ay si Christine Opiaza mula sa Zambales at second runner-up naman si Angelique Manto ng Pampanga.
Matapos naman ang crowning ni Michelle, nagkaroon ng separate event na kung saan ay itinanghal bilang Miss Supranational Philippines 2023 ang pambato ng Bohol na si Pauline Amelinckx, habang ang nakakuha ng Miss Charm Philippines 2023 ay si Krishnah Marie Gravidez ng Baguio.
Para sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, anak si Michelle ni 1979 Miss International Melanie Marquez.
Ito na ang pangatlong pagkakataon na nakasungkit ng korona ang beauty queen mula sa iba’t-ibang national pageant.
Ang dalawa riyan ay ang Miss World Philippines noong 2019 at Miss Universe Philippines-Tourism naman noong nakaraang taon.
