Miss Universe judge kinilig sa pagpapakasal ni Pia kay Jeremy: ‘I’m so proud of you that you found the love of your life’

NANDITO ngayon sa Pilipinas si Ms. Olivia Quido-Co, founder at CEO ng O Skin Med Spa sa Cerritos, Los Angeles California para suportahan ang Miss Universe Philippines Organization (MUPH) at ang bagong may-aring si Ms. Anne Jakrajutatip.

Sa ginanap na charity fashion and gala night sa Okada Manila ay kasama ni Ms. O sa VIP Table si Ms. Anne at ang Filipina-American at 2022 Miss Universe R’Bonney Gabriel na dumating sa bansa kahapon.

Ayon kay Ms. Olivia, gusto rin niyang mapanood ang pre-pageant competitions ng MUPH at ang grand coronation night sa May 13 na gaganapin sa SM Mall of Asia Arena kung saan ipapasa ni Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Celeste Cortesi ang kanyang korona.

Nabanggit na naging close sila ngayon ni Ms. Anne na isa rin sa dahilan kaya siya umuwi ay para ilibot siya sa bansa kapag parehong maluwag ang oras nila.

Aniya, “We built a very good relationship not only as the Miss Universe skin care partner, but we became friends.

“Anne is in Thailand and I’m in the US, yet we talk every week. I believe she is really doing everything for the Miss Universe Organization (MUO), although I have nothing to do with that. I only listen to her as a friend.

“I see her passion for the organization and how Anne wants to make it big and prestigious. I understand there are people who can say things and comment about how Anne runs MUO. But as a business owner, Anne wants to do the best for Miss Universe,” aniya.

Bilang skin care partner niya sa Miss Universe ay naging isa siya sa hurado noong nakaraang taon kung saan nanalo si R’Bonney Gabriel.

Alaala ni Ms. O, “I sat down and had a talk with the candidates. I saw everyone up close and personal. They were all beautiful in person. But once they were onstage, something is lacking.

“Their stage presence didn’t have a glow. Some didn’t exude an aura. Some were very shy. There were some who are really beautiful and really look good, but once they face the judges, they lack stage presence and self-esteem. Not consistent.

“It should be from the very first time you step out onstage up to the time you return, you should have the same energy level,” sabi niya.

Bukod sa Miss Universe 2022 ay naging isa rin sa judges si Ms. O sa Miss Universe Paraguay, Miss Universe Ecuador at Miss Universe Colombia.

“The Filipinos are really pageant fans. Their support to the candidate they want to win is like no other. When the Philippines was not called, you’d see the disappointment of Filipinos.

“But just after a minute, they waved the American flag and started rooting for USA. I was so surprised they had another flag. They started rooting for R’Bonney Gabriel. When Miss USA landed on Top 5 and then, Top 3, I was witness to how Filipino fans in the audience really cheered for her,” balik-tanaw ni Ms. O.

Samantala, naikuwento rin nito na super happy siya sa pagpapakasal nina 2015 Miss Universe Pia Wurtzbach at Jeremy Jauncey at nang makita niya ang post nito sa social media ay kaagad niyang binati.

“I’m so proud of you that you found the love of your life. Continue to be a blessing. You’re a beautiful person inside and out. I wish both of you all the best. Bigla naman akong kinilig,” sabi niya.

Naalala ring bigla ni Ms. O na noong manalo si Pia bilang 2015 Miss Universe ay, “Noong nanalo si Pia, pagpunta niya sa backstage, ako ‘yung una niyang tinext at sinabi niyang ‘Miss O, we finally got the crown.”

Nananatiling magkaibigan at nagkakausap sina Pia at Ms. Olivia, “Early last year, nag-text kami. Pupunta kasi kami ng Switzerland, so sabi ko Pia saan ba maganda tumira sa Switzerland? Sabi niya tumira ka doon sa tinirahan namin.”
