“I became interested ever since I was a child. I’ve always aspired to be on the stage inspiring the Filipino community as there wasn’t much representation at the time being raised in Vancouver Island,” sey sa amin ni Raymond.

Kwento niya, “My family is the reason why I am where I am. Both my parents immigrated to Canada. My mom met my dad in Canada as he was still working abroad and eventually married, and I was born in 1998”
Chika pa niya, “My mom put me into lessons when I was 11 years old. Ever since then, so many unexpected things have happened in my life with music that I could never have imagined.”
“I owe it to my family, the Filipino community I grew up with and my friends who have stuck by me,” aniya pa.
Ang sagot niya sa amin, “I am just wanting to focus on my journey with music and with school as I prepare to pursue the healthcare field as a care aid.”
“In 2022, I lost my voice due to Covid, which restrained me from singing for about 3-5 months,” ayon kay Raymond.
Chika pa niya, “When I decided to participate in Canada’s Got Talent, I had to train and vocalize with my teacher Alida Annicchiarico and famous Vocal Coach Cheryl Porter, who helped me gain my voice to be stronger and gain my confidence after battling vocal difficulties.”
“Being Filipino has always meant being proud of who you are, don’t be afraid of your dreams, and when you have a talent that inspires and encourages people, that’s a gift from God,” sey ni Raymond.
Aniya pa, “My goal is to inspire people from my race as a Filipino, in the LGBTQ+ and for anyone who has a dream to pursue it. Enjoy life young or whenever you are given an opportunity to take it without hesitation.”
