Gitarista ng ‘The Script’ pumanaw na sa edad 46, mga pakikiramay bumuhos sa socmed

NAGLULUKSA ang maraming fans, pati na rin ang ilang international music artists sa pagpanaw ni Mark Sheehan, ang gitarista at co-founder ng sikat na Irish pop rock band na “The Script.”
Ang malungkot na balita ay inanunsyo mismo ng banda sa pamamagitan ng social media post.
Hindi idinetalye ang sanhi ng pagkamatay ng gitarista, pero tuluyan daw itong namamaalam nitong April 15 habang nagpapagaling sa ospital. Siya ay nasa edad 46.
“Much loved husband, father, brother, band mate and friend Mark Sheehan passed away today in hospital after a brief illness,” caption sa post.
Nakiusap din ang bandmates ni Mark sa fans na igalang ang pribadong pagluluksa nila at ng pamilya.
“The family and group ask fans to respect their privacy at this tragic time,” sey ng banda.

Bumuhos naman ang pakikiramay mula sa netizens, lalo na sa ilang kapwa-musicians.
Kabilang na riyan ang English singers na sina Calum Scott, JP Cooper at Ella Henderson, at ang Irish musician na si Hozier.

Ang bandang “The Script” ay sikat sa mga hit song tulad ng “Hall of Fame,” “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved,” “Breakeven” at marami pang iba.
Ilan lamang sa mga parangal na nakuha ng banda ay ang “Bestselling Irish act” sa World Music Awards noong 2008, at ang “Best Irish Band” at “Best Album” noong 2009 sa Meteor Ireland Music Awards.
Matatandaang huling nag-perform sa Pilipinas ang nasabing banda noong Setyembre bilang parte ng kanilang “Greatest Hits Tour.”
