“It’s a funny incident. Nasa studio sila. Binisita ko si Rox (Santos) and then while I was hanging out, Cathy, our GM sa AOR, said, ‘Sir, magbubukas kami ng AOR sa Philippines, bubuksan namin uli.
I have to go to Singapore to prove myself.
“They requested that I attend a short class about students with disabilities and then creating a safe environment for them as an educational institution,” chika pa niya.

Tinawag itong “immersion” ni Enchong as himself was the “least knowledgeable when it comes to in singing, songwriting, music per se.”
Ang feeling ni Enchong ay perfect opportunity ito for him to make an investment at AOR as “way, way back, I was looking for a business where I can put my foot when it comes to education.”
“To be able to share knowledge to people is very fulfilling,” say niya.
Noong pandemic, nag-offer ang Academy of Rock ng online lessons. Ngayon, meron na itong 60 to 70 students taking up lessons on guitar, piano, drums, singing, dancing, bass.
Enchong magbubukas ng sariling music school: We are opening Academy of Rock PH!
