JERICHO bonggang BEACH WEDDING ang gustong iregalo kay KIM JONES
Beach wedding ang plano nina Jericho Rosales and girlfriend Kim Jones. May Philippine mainstream theatrical release na ang “Alagwa” (English title is Breakaway), the award winning indie film ni Jericho where he star and co-produced the movie.
This will be released by Star Cinema in line with its 20th anniversary presentation as it opens nationwide Oct. 9. Nag-rounds ang “Alagwa” late last year bilang official selection ng iba’t ibang international film festivals sa buong mundo kung saan nanalo ito ng maraming awards plus ang mga napanalunan ng movie locally.
Most notable ang 2013 Newport Beach Film Festival kung saan nanalo si Echo ng Outstanding Achievement in Acting, his third acting award for the movie as he also got the Best Actor awards sa 2013 Gawad Urian and 2013 Gawad Tanglaw.
The movie also won 2013 PMPC Star Awards for Movie Best Indie and also sa 2013 Third World International Film Festival. Echo’s fourth acting award came from Guam International Film Festival where the movie won Best Narrative Feature and for him Outstanding Achievement in Acting.
Marami pang film festivals ang sasalihan ng “Alagwa” kaya pala next year na ang binabalak nilang kasal ng kaniyang model girlfriend na si Kim Jones.
Early next year ang plano nila at beach wedding daw pero wala pa silang balak mag-anak dahil marami pang commitment ang girlfriend niya for modeling.
Meanwhile, Echo is set to do a new soap with Angel Locsin for ABS as he is wishing na for next year, ang “Alagwa” naman ang ipapadala ng Film Academy of the Philippines sa Oscars as the country’s entry for Best Foreign Movie.
