OCTA: COVID-19 cases per week sa Metro Manila tumaas ng 56%
LUMOBO ng 56% ang COVID-19 cases per week sa Metro Manila, ayon sa OCTA Research Group.
Mula sa 264 na mga kaso na naitala noong November 24 ay umakyat na sa 411 cases ang mga na-record nitong December 1.
Base din sa report ng OCTA, tumaas din ang positivity rate o ‘yung bilang ng mga nahahawaan ng virus.
Noong November 30 ay nasa 11.9% na ito, mas mataas kumpara noong November 23 na nasa 9.4%.

Ipinunto pa ni David sa isang tweet na ang kasalukuyang positivity rate ay kapareho noong Hulyo at Setyembre na kasagsagan ng Omicron BA.5 at XBB wave.
“This rate of increase in the positivity rate in the NCR is around the same rate of increase during the omicron BA.5 wave (from June) and the XBB (from September). This projects to a December BQ.1 wave similar to the toe BE.5 and XBB waves,” Tweet ni David.
Sa latest report ng Department of Health (DOH), nasa 18,412 ang naitalang active cases o ‘yung mga patuloy na nagpapagaling mula sa COVID-19.
Ang mga pinakamaraming kaso ay nasa Metro Manila, CALABARZON, Central Luzon, at Western Visayas.
