Iza Calzado hindi feel magpa-gender reveal party, bakit kaya?

KUNG ang ibang celebrities ay talagang tumotodo at nag-e-effort sa mga gender reveal parties, mukhang iba naman ang paniniwala rito ng Kapamilya actress na si Iza Calzado.
Sa naging pahayag ng aktres sa isang panayam, parang ramdam ng kanyang mga supporters na hindi siya masyadong fan ng mga pa-gender reveal.
Natanong kasi ang nagdadalang-taong aktres kung may plano ba siyang makiuso sa mga gender reveal celebration na nagiging tradisyon na ngayon sa showbiz.
“Sorry, it’s sex reveal. Gender is an expression, and we cannot reveal it,” ang makahulugang pahayag ni Iza.
Kuwento ni Iza sa isa pang panayam, aksidente lang daw nilang nalaman ng kanyang asawang si Ben Wintle ang sex ng kanilang magiging panganay na anak.

“I see how this surprise can make other parents excited, and I appreciate and see the value in that. I have been to some sex or gender reveal parties, and it’s filled with so much joy and love!” ang sabi ni Iza sa isang magazine interview.
Aniya pa, ang gender ay isang “social and cultural construct” kaya naman mas gusto niyang bigyan ng atensiyon ang kalusugan ng kanyang baby.
“From an economic standpoint, I think another party that we have to spend on does not make sense to me, personally, as all our efforts should and must focus on the baby’s birth and first few months and years,” sey ng aktres.
Ngunit paglilinaw niya, “Please do what you think is best for you and your child. By all means, throw a reveal if it will make your family and loved ones happy by coming together for that joyful moment.”
“Your journey to parenthood is uniquely yours. Celebrate it! Enjoy it!” dagdag pang paliwanag ni Iza.
Matatandaang sinabi ni Iza na “unexpected” ang kanyang pagbubuntis sa edad na 40, “They were right. Life does begin at 40. Simply put, your life begins as your mother turns forty.
“To know that life is growing inside me is great miracle. You are my miracle. You are my guiding light,” mariin pa niyang sabi.
