MAY bonggang paandar ang Clean Air Philippines Movement, Inc., bilang pakikiisa sa National Clean Air Month Celebration ngayong taon.

Ang November ay idineklarang National Clean Air Month Celebration sa bisa ng Presidential Proclamation 1009 series of 1997 at kasabay nga nito ang pagsasagawa ng isang contest para sa climate change awareness.

Ito ang Anti-Climate Change event  na “Dance Versus Climate Change (From the Philippines to the World) na eksklusibong mapapanood sa ALLTV channel 2.

Sa pangunguna ni Dr. Michael Aragon, ang founding chairman ng Clean Air Philippines Movement, Inc. (CAPMI) at presidente ng Kapisanan ng Social Media Broadcasters ng Pilipinas, Inc. (KSMBPI), magaganap ito sa November 30, sa Scout Borromeo sa Quezon City na magsisilbi ring closing event ng month-long clean air month.

Ngayong taon, si First Lady Liza Marcos ang nahirang na “Champion” kahilera ang mga dati nang napili na sina Sen. Grace Poe (2016), Vice President Sara Duterte (2017), Sec. Art Tugade (2018), Sec. Roy Cimatu (2019), Sen. Manny Pacquiao (2020), Sec. Isidro Lapena (2021).

Ang “Dance Versus Climate Change (From the Philippines to the World)” ay magkakaroon ng Costume With Dance challenge na ang grand prize ay P30,000 na ipagkakaloob sa best dance na may full costume.

Lahat ng contestants ay rarampa sa kalye at sasayaw sa loob ng 25 minuto with marathon judging. Ang best dance interpreter ng nasabing awit ay mananalo ng P30,000.

Samantala, ang cosplay contest na pagandahan naman ng costume ay magwawagi rin ng P30,000.

Para sa costume contest pa lang, ang mananalo ay mag-uuwi n ng P20,000, P15,000 sa 2nd place, P10,000 sa 3rd place habang ang consolation prizes ay P2,000 at P1,000 each.

Ang sponsor ng event na ito ang ay Offshore Mining Chamber of the Philippines (OMCPI) na si Dr. Aragon din ang chairman, Philippines Gateway to the Blue Economy  via Clean & Ggreen Offshore Mining Technology).

Kaugnay nito, sinabi nga ni Dr. Michael, “Ang OMCPI ay mining in the oceans that are the raw materials of electronics and renewable energy devices that the world needs to fight climate change. OMCPI is the pioneer in this technology in the Philippines.”

Samantala, ang Jazz Clean Air Band o Banda Makinis na Hangin ay magdaraos naman ng concert sa Nov. 30 kasama ang Clean Air Singing Ambassadors na sina Bb. Pilipinas Ali Forbes at Singing Diva Cess Cruz.
