Maricar Reyes nagsalita na tungkol sa ‘darkest chapter of my life’: 12 years bago ako naging OK enough to really talk about it…

SIGURADONG maraming gustong makabasa ng librong isinulat ng Kapamilya actress na si Maricar Reyes-Poon dahil dito nga niya inilahad ang tungkol sa kinasangkutan kontrobersiya noong 2009.
Walang diretsahang sinabi si Maricar kung ano ang tinutukoy niyang “darkest chapter of my life” pero mukhang ito nga ang sex video scandal na ikinabit na sa pangalan niya ng mahabang panahon.
Ngayon lang daw niya isisiwalat ang lahat na mahigit isang dekada niyang hindi sinagot at iniwasang pag-usapan in public.
Sa kanyang official website, nakalagay ang paglalarawan niya sa ipinagmamalaking self-published book, “This book focuses only on Maricar’s long journey and process of healing.
“Maricar wants to let women know that they are not alone in their struggles. There is always hope and a way out of any dark situation.”
Sa isa niyang Instagram post, nabanggit ng aktres kung gaano ka- meaningful sa kanya ang pagkakabuo ng nasabing libro, “It took a long time from 2009 to the start of when that thing happened to me publicly, until 2022. It took 12 years for me to write this book.
“So sobra siyang meaningful sa akin and it took a long time to heal and process. If you guys are going through something na mabigat or something na mahirap and you don’t know how to solve it, there’s really a process.
“And don’t be too hard on yourself if you feel like ang tagal. Kasi ako nga 12 years bago ako naging okay enough to really talk about it,” pahayag ng misis ni Richard Poon.
Sa isa pa niyang Instagram post nakasaad naman ang, “MY SOLO BOOK IS FINALLY OUT.
“2009 – the year when a crisis changed my life. 13 years have passed and I’ve chosen not to talk about it…until now.
“Today, I’m finally telling my side of the story — how I bounced back from the darkest chapter of my life.
“Be one of the first to know about my journey towards overcoming online shame.

“I hope my story will help or inspire you to find a way out of your dark situation, whatever that may be.
“Remember, you are not alone and there is always a way out. Laging may SOLUSYON,” ang caption ni Maricar sa litrato ng libro.
May paliwanag pa siya sa ilang chapters na mababasa sa book, aniya, “At the very end of my book I included a chapter called. ‘Can you relate?’
“My readers may not have gone through exactly what I’ve gone through. But I know many of them have faced (or are currently facing) very challenging times.
“This last chapter is my way of giving back, In honor of every mentor who has helped me make sense of, and learn from my crisis.
“Chapter 15 contains guide questions to help you understand…Your own journey. Because, like me many years ago, you may not know where to start.
“I really hope this helps you find healing. If my book has helped you in any way, please pay it forward.
“Be a light to the people around you. Let them learn from your story too,” sabi pa ni Maricar.
Inamin din ng aktres na marami pa rin siyang natatanggap na hate messages tungkol sa nangyari sa kanya ilang taon na ngayon ang nakararaan.
“There are still people who are disrespectful in their comments. It took me 12 years to get to a point where I’m stable enough to talk about it and have a heart to help people.
“So kung meron kang pinagdadaanan na mabigat, it will take time. Parang i-mindset mo na ang sarili mo na it’s a marathon, it’s not a sprint.
“Kasi ang dami ngayon na parang quick sprint is the key, parang a lot of people want things to be fixed right away. And there are things that are fixed right away.
“Pero yung mga malalalim na bagay, especially in our own hearts if there are things that need to be fixed, yun ang mabigat at matagal. So don’t be too heard on yourself and be patient with the process,” pagbabahagi pa ni Maricar Reyes.
