Chris Martin ng ‘Coldplay’ may ‘serious lung infection’: Brazil concert ng banda kanselado
NAKAKALUNGKOT na balita ang tumambad sa fans ng British rock band na “Coldplay.”
Inanunsyo kasi ng banda sa social media na na-diagnose ng “serious lung infection” o sakit sa baga ang kanilang lead vocalist na si Chris Martin.
Dahil diyan, napilitan ang grupo na kanselahin na muna ang ongoing concerts sa Brazil hanggang sa susunod na taon.
Paliwanag ng banda sa isang social media post, “With deep regret, we’ve been forced to postpone our upcoming shows in Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo until early 2023.
“Due to a serious lung infection, Chris has been put under strict doctor’s orders to rest for the next three weeks.”

Humingi rin sila ng “sorry” sa mga nakabili na ng tickets, at tiniyak naman na matutuloy pa rin ang kanilang show matapos magpahinga si Chris.
Saad nila, “We’re working as fast as possible to lock in the new dates and will follow up with more information in the next few days.
“To everyone in Brazil who was looking forward to these concerts, we’re extremely sorry for any disappointment and inconvenience, and we’re so grateful for your understanding at this challenging time where we need to prioritise Chris’ health.”
Nilinaw rin nila na pwede pang magamit ang mga nabiling tickets sa itatakdang bagong concert dates, at pwede rin itong ma-refund para sa mga hindi na manonood.
“Please hold onto your tickets as they will be valid for the new rescheduled dates. These will happen in early 2023 and will be announced very soon.
“However, we will also honour all requests for ticket refunds – which will be available at the point of sale.”
Huling naglabas ng album ang Coldplay noong Hulyo ng nakaraang taon na pinamagatang “Music of the Spheres.”
Nagkaroon rin sila ng collaboration sa K-Pop sensation na BTS para sa kantang “My Universe.”
Ang Coldplay ang nasa likod ng hits song tulad ng A Sky Full of Stars,” “Yellow” at “Fix You.”
