INALALA ng Pinay beauty queen na si Beatrice Gomez ang first anniversary ng kanyang pagkapanalo sa Miss Universe Philippines 2021.
Nitong nagdaang Biyernes, September 30, napa-throwback ang dalaga na kilala rin bilang miyembro at advocate ng LGBTQIA+ sa mga nangyari noong manalo siya sa naturang national pageant.
Sa kanyang Instagran account, nagbahagi si Beatrice ng kanyang litrato kasama ang iba pang kinoronahang kandidata sa Miss Universe Philippines noong September 30, 2021.

“I can’t believe that it has only been a year since that joyous moment when Cebu City was called as Miss Universe Philippines 2021,” ang bahagi ng caption ng Cebuana beauty queen sa kanyang Instagram page.
Noong araw na iyon, ang tanging nasa isip daw ni Beatrice ay ang Murphy’s Law na nagsasabing, “if anything could go wrong, it will.”
“I can never mess up anything that’s meant for me and that’s when I finally freed myself from worries and just enjoyed the whole experience,” pahayag pa ng dalaga.
At hindi nga niya akalain na ang isa sa mga pinapangarap lamang niya noon ay mabibigyang katuparan nang mga sandaling iyon.
Pagpapatuloy ni Beatrice, “I would do it all over again with my sisters and friends at @themissuniverseph 2021 if I could.
“Other than the Miss Universe experience in Israel this was definitely the biggest highlight of my 2021.
“I will forever cherish this memory and the people who were a part of this chapter in my life,” pagbabahagi pa ng beauty queen.
Umabot sa Top 5 si Beatrice nang maging representative ng Pilipinas sa Miss Universe pageant last December, 2021.
Sa isang panayam, natanong si Bea kung paano binago ng pagiging beauty queen ang kanyang buhay, “It changed me a whole lot. I used to be a scared little girl who’s always scared to get out of my comfort zone.
“But then I… I was able to get out of my shell and face my fears and I’m so glad that I was able to do it because there’s so much greater things behind that fear.
“And I’m so glad that I was able to get past that,” aniya pa kasabay ng paglalarawan sa naging experience niya sa pageant bilang “fruitful, humbling and memorable.”
“Being able to stand here in this stage together with all of you, I already feel like I’ve won the Miss Universe crown myself,” aniya pa.
