What did I do? Yung genes ba namin?
Base sa pahayag ng Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, ang ASD ay “developmental disability caused by differences in the brain. Some people with ASD have a known difference, such as a genetic condition. Other causes are not yet known.”
“People with ASD may behave, communicate, interact, and learn in ways that are different from most other people. There is often nothing about how they look that sets them apart from other people.
“The abilities of people with ASD can vary significantly. For example, some people with ASD may have advanced conversation skills whereas others may be nonverbal. Some people with ASD need a lot of help in their daily lives; others can work and live with little to no support.”

“I have two kids so alam ko yung development ng kids. So, with her, sabi ko parang may iba siya. She doesn’t acknowledge her name. Ayun yung first.
“When I say ‘Rocket,’ sige, sabi ko baka naman sa two (years old) she doesn’t look,” kuwento ni Aubrey.
Pahayag ni Troy, “Parang we got punched kasi it’s official na nga.
“Although may feeling na there was really something, but once it’s official, it’s like, ‘Oh, wow! It took us how long for it to sink in,” aniya pa.
“You want to blame yung sarili mo kasi as a mom, parang, ‘Ako ba ito?'” sey ng aktres habang umiiyak.
What did I do? Yung genes ba namin?’
“After the diagnosis, for me, I was thinking, you know, she laughs, she plays with us.
“She’s still a breath of fresh air. And when you see her, she’s so happy. And I’m, like, if this is autism for us, I’ll be okay with it. She’s happy. We’re very lucky she’s very happy,” sey ni Troy.
“I’m crying because we can say it, kasi before parang it was so hard.
“Now, I’m happy that I’m open and I’m, like, ‘You know what? We can do this,'” pahayag pa ni Aubrey.
