Indian model-actress na si Harnaaz Sandhu waging 2021 Miss Universe

ITINANGHAL na Miss Universe 2021 ang representative ng India na si Harnaaz Sandhu sa katatapos lang na grand coronation night na ginanap sa Eilat, Israel.
Tinalo ni Miss India ang 79 iba pang kandidata mula sa iba’t ibang panig ng universe. Siya ang nanalong ikatlong Miss Universe mula sa India.
Si Sandhu ay isang public administrator at graduate ng Information Technology at kasalukuyang tinatapos ang kanyang Master’s degree.
Rumaraket din siya bilang model at aktes, sa katunayan may natapos na siyang dalawang Punjabi films — ang “Yaara Diyan Poo Baran” at “Bai Ji Kuttange,” na ipalalabas sa 2022.

Sa Top 5 question and answer segment, ang tanong sa kanya ay, “Many people think climate change is a hoax. What would you do to convince them otherwise?”
Sagot ni Miss India, “Honestly, my heart breaks to see how nature is going through a lot of problems and to all irresponsible behavior.
“And I totally feel that this is the time to take actions and talk less because each action could either kill or save nature. Prevent and protect is better than repent and repair and this is what I’m trying to convince you guys today,” dagdag pa niya.
At sa final round naman, isang tanong na lang ang sinagot ng Top 3, “What advice would you give to young women watching on how to deal with the pressures they face today?”
Ito naman ang naging tugon ni Sandhu, “Well, I think the biggest pressure the youth is facing today is to believe in themselves.”
“Let’s stop comparing yourselves to others and let’s talk about more important things that are happening worldwide.
“I think this the thing you need to do for yourself, come out, because you are the hero of your own. You have a life of your own. I believed in myself and that’s why I’m standing here today,” aniya pa.
Itinanghal na First runner-up si Miss Universe Paraguay Nadia Ferreira habang Second runner-up naman si Miss Universe South Africa Lalela Lali Mswane.
Umabot naman ang bet ng Pilipinas na si Beatrice Luigi Gomez sa Top at nalaglag na pagdating sa Top 3.
