Vico Sotto, ipinagbawal ang tarps, iba pang campaign ads sa public properties ng Pasig

“Kahit tarp ko pa yan.”

Ipinag-utos ni Mayor Vico Sotto ang pagbaklas sa anumang campaign materials na may kaugnayan sa darating na eleksyon sa mga public property sa Pasig City.

“I instructed our personnel through the City Admin to remove election-related materials posted in PUBLIC PROPERTY,” ani Sotto sa kanyang tweet.

Sinabi niya na kahit sarili niyang outdoor ad kung lumalabag sa kautusang ito ay dapat tanggalin.

Sakaling may pagkakamali at pati mga tarpaulin at iba pang materyal  sa pribadong lugar ay matanggal, sinabi ni Sotto na maari itong i-report sa  Ugnayan sa Pasig.

Sa memorandum na ipinalabas ni Jeronimo Manzanero, city administrator ng Pasig, ipinag-utos nito na:

“All posters, ribbons, and other related materials for purposes of electioneering and/or commercial purposes without express authorization of the city government are to be removed immediately from city owned properties, such as, but not limited to, city-owned lamp posts, perimeter walls, and city buildings.”

“The public may, however, place the abovementioned materials in their private properties,” dagdag pa ni Manzanero.
