You know me better than anybody else.

“Nakita ninyo at kilalla ninyo ako how I value the opportunity given to me. How I give importance to that particular task. Dahil doon, mabilis akong nakilala sa showbiz industry.

“The same manner I gave for 23 years of my life in public service.

Dugtong pa niya, “I respect each and everyone’s choices. This is democracy. I do believe I have done my share, 23 years of my life was dedicated to public service, and happily did it. Sharing my time, effort, and to better myself in governance.

“Timing is not a requirement. It’s not about who can do it better than the other. Who have shown excellence in their field of undertaking.

“Leadership is about who did good. It’s not about the name, who is your father, who is your mother. It’s all about what did you do?

“These are the questions ng ating kababayan. So I don’t believe that this is about fan clubs. It’s not about idols. It’s about who can do it. Whoever that is, it’s up to our people to answer.

“Not because bata ako, nowadays, kailagan natin ang energetic na leader.

“Being eloquent using good words cannot solve our problems.

“I did my part and went beyond what is required of me (bilang mayor ng Maynila). I dedicated myself. For three straight months, I wasn’t able to see my family. Just for the record, not a single glimpse kung kumusta yung apat kong anak at asawa ko. I tried in my own little way to be with the people of Manila, two million of them.

“In the lowest moments of their lives, I was there, streets and barangays. I tried to save, protect, and feed as many people as possible,” dire-diretsong pahayag ni Isko.
