Chito Roño super bilib kay Janella: Mabibigyan niya ng hustisya si Valentina!

SUPER impressed ang award-winning director na si Chito Roño sa celebrity mom na si Janella Salvador nang mag-audition ito para sa “Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series.”
Si Janella ang napili ng mga bossing ng ABS-CBN at ni Direk Chito para gumanap na Valentina sa bagong TV remake ng “Darna” na pagbibidahan ni Jane de Leon.
Sa isang statement, ibinandera ni Direk Chito na ibang-ibang atake ng super villain ang mapapanood sa “Darna”, “We’re modernizing Valentina. Totally kakaiba sa dating Valentina!”
Aniya pa, “I haven’t really seen her (Janella) that much except for when she auditioned and I was kinda impressed. Hindi ako na-disappoint sa audition niya.
“I think she would do justice to the character of Valentina. Janella would not only be capable but also interesting to do that different kind of character,” diin pa ng award-winning director.

Last week, ibinandera na nga ng ABS-CBN na si Janella ang maswerteng napili bilang Valentina, ang pinakasikat na kalaban ng Pinoy iconic superhero na si Darna.
“First of all, I am very, very honored to be chosen among the many actresses who auditioned for this role.
“I am sure they are equally as amazing and I would like to take this opportunity to thank Chito Roño and ABS-CBN for giving me the opportunity to portray this iconic role. I promise to live up to everyone’s expectations but also make it my own,” pahayag ni Janella.
Nagsimula nang mag-taping ang “Darna” last Nov. 15 sa bonggang-bonggang Hollywood-standard sound stages ng ABS-CBN sa San Jose del Monte, Bulacan.
