JK Labajo puring-puri si Janine Berdin: Her voice is just unique, she’s really kind, humble

BILIB na bilib at saludo ang “Buwan” hitmaker na si JK Labajo kay “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” grand champion Janine Berdin.
Puring-puri ng award-winning young musician ang talento ni Janine bilang isa ring singer at composer, lalo na ang napakaganda at flexible nitong boses.
“Her voice is just unique. Some people say quality over quantity, I guess Janine is one of that. It’s really the quality of her voice not the quantity in a sense kung gaano siya kataas bumirit.
“Most of the time dito sa Pilipinas naging basehan sa kagalingan ng singer ay kung gaano siya kataas kumanta, which is not always the case,” ang papuri ni JK kay Janine sa ginanap na digital conference para sa song collaboration nilang “Pagod Na Ako.
Dagdag pa ng actor-singer, “Siyempre she’s really kind, humble. It’s really those things.”
Ang “Pagod Na Ako,” ay ni-release last Nov. 5 under Star Music. Ito’y isinulat ni Janine and produced by JK.

Paliwanag ng dalaga sa message ng song, “It’s about acknowledging the struggles that you are going through and how important that is. Kasi most of the time pinapabayaan lang natin ang sarili natin na napapagod na tayo and it builds up and then we end up giving up kasi we don’t acknowledge the struggles.”
Ayon naman kay JK tungkol sa collan nila ni Janine, “I just helped her out on how to materialize what she had in mind and put it into music, into reality.
“But how you hear this song is really Janine’s genius. Ako lang ‘yung isa sa mga instrument na tumulong,” aniya pa bilang producer.
Sa tanong kay JK kung paano nagsimula ang idea na mag-collaborate sila, “I asked Janine if she had songs she wrote herself and she simply gave me a folder of the songs she made. I was surprised she had a lot. Then I just told her, ‘you know what, we have to work together. Because I know it’s something I would regret if we don’t.”
